Introduction

King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) is committed to providing an inclusive digital environment that allows everyone, including people with disabilities and the elderly, to access its platforms and websites.

King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center adheres to the following standards to promote accessibility:

1.       Compliance with Levels A and AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0: Websites and platforms adhere to Levels A and AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 to ensure accessibility for all individuals, including the elderly and people with disabilities.

2.       Compatibility with Assistive Devices: The Center's digital platforms support a wide range of assistive technologies, including screen readers and magnification tools, to ensure users with disabilities and the elderly can interact with the platforms.

3.       Regular Audits: Regular audits will be conducted to assess accessibility performance, ensuring ongoing compliance and continuous improvements.

 

Integrated Technologies to Support Accessibility

-          Text Alternatives: Providing text alternatives for each non-text element (such as images, audio, and video) to facilitate accessibility for users with visual impairments.

-          High Contrast: Ensuring a contrast ratio that provides easy reading of text, which helps users with low vision.

-          Text Resizing: Allowing users to resize text to a larger size without losing content or disrupting functionality.

-          Easy Navigation: The site provides a list of page links that can be navigated using a keyboard to ensure easy access for users.
