Ahmed Al-Hakamani A Journey of Strength Renewed by Compassion

In the heart of Al-Mahrah stands the story of Ahmed Saad Ibrahim Al-Hakamani a man in his mid fifties who spent many years quietly battling high blood pressure He learned to live with the strain it placed on his body until life dealt him a harsher blow when signs of acute kidney failure suddenly appeared Overnight his world changed and dialysis became the only bridge keeping him connected to life

After an intense period of treatment and close medical follow up Ahmed experienced what felt like a miracle His condition improved enough for him to stop dialysis for more than a year and a half a time that brought him a breath of hope and a glimpse of the normal life he had been missing Yet the path of illness is rarely smooth His kidneys deteriorated once again and doctors confirmed that he was now facing chronic kidney failure requiring continuous care

Ahmed resumed his dialysis journey at Al Shehr Hospital in Hadramout before being transferred to the Al Ghaydah Dialysis Center in Al Mahrah where he currently receives treatment He attends lifesaving hemodialysis sessions twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays sessions that help him maintain stability and hold on to his health

To Ahmed Al Ghaydah Center is much more than a medical facility It is a place that restores dignity and hope providing all its services free of charge This remarkable support is made possible through the generous funding of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre which equipped the center with modern medical technology The International War and Disaster Victims Association Al Ameen manages and operates the facility with efficiency and genuine care
