KSA Aid to Combat COVID-19 Arrives in Wuhan

WUHAN, CHINA: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s support to fight novel coronavirus (COVID-19) recently arrived in Wuhan, China; the aid included medical devices: 60 ultrasound machines, 30 non-invasive ventilators, 89 defibrillators, 277 patient monitors, 500 infusion pumps, 200 injection pumps and 3 continuous renal replacement therapy machines.
The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) delivered shipments last month, as well, and additional aid items will be sent to the region over the coming weeks.
This assistance comes in compliance with directives from the government of Saudi Arabia to provide urgent assistance to the People's Republic of China to help the country counteract the effects of COVID-19. On 13 February 2020, six joint contracts were signed to provide medical assistance and support to combat the disease outbreak in China.
KSrelief has implemented hundreds of programs to more than 45 countries to alleviate the suffering of all in need.
