KSrelief Distributes Winter Kits in Pakistan

PAKISTAN: On 23 January 2020, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) distributed winter kits to affected people in the Kashmir region and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. The winter kits, which normally include such items as blankets, rugs and winter clothing, are intended to help low-income Pakistanis to deal with the extremely cold winter temperatures which occur in parts of the country.
This distribution included 2,000 winter kits to assist 10,000 beneficiaries in the Chitral district of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, and 500 kits for 2,500 beneficiaries in the Kashmiri district of Hattian Bala.
To date, KSrelief has implemented 107 projects in Pakistan at a total cost of more than USD 117,600,000.
