KSrelief Distributes Ramadan Food Baskets in Jordan

AMMAN, JORDAN: King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) distributed food baskets today to Jordanian, Palestinian and Syrian families in need throughout Jordan, providing urgent nutritional assistance to beneficiaries in several governorates. The food aid is being provided by KSrelief during the holy month of Ramadan in cooperation with the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization. The 400 food baskets which were handed out provided aid to 2,000 beneficiaries in the governorate of Mafraq. 

The food basket distribution was one part of a larger project to deliver 41,595 food baskets to beneficiary families. All such aid is now being distributed according to measures which protect both aid workers and beneficiaries to stop the spread of COVID-19.

The Ramadan food baskets contained staple food items, and are just one indication of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s commitment alleviating the suffering of all in need globally.
