Dr. Al Rabeeah Meets UK Special Envoy for Famine Prevention and Humanitarian Affairs

RIYADH, SAUDI ARABIA: The Supervisor General of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief), Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah, met today with Nick Dyer, the United Kingdom’s first Special Envoy for Famine Prevention and Humanitarian Affairs, at KSrelief’s headquarters in Riyadh. 

During the meeting, the two officials discussed ways to work together to meet the needs of vulnerable populations in the food security and nutrition sectors. Another topic of concern was the importance of improving agricultural and animal production in Yemen and in other countries in crisis. They discussed how to reduce risks to groups most affected by famine, malnutrition and similar conditions, and how to develop joint strategies to increase the amount of global assistance KSA and the UK can provide to alleviate suffering around the world.
