Yemeni Minister of Media Praises the Kingdom’s Support

ALMAHRAH, YEMEN: The Yemeni Minister of Media, Culture, and Tourism, Muammar Al-Eryani, accompanied by the Governor of Al-Mahrah, Muhammad Ali Yasser, visited the dialysis center in Al-Mahrah, which was established by the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen with generous support from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief).
During the visit, His Excellency reviewed the work progress at the dialysis center, the quality of services provided, and the comprehensive medical care it provides for kidney failure patients.
The Minister praised the outstanding role of the Center in providing dialysis services for patients with acute and chronic kidney failure daily using modern and advanced equipment, equipped according to the latest standards.
His Excellency valued the role of KSrelief, which finances the operation of the dialysis center and provides medical and therapeutic services to kidney patients free of charge. Since the center’s operation began in 2020, it ran 20,571 dialysis sessions, 44.874 different analyzes, 24,966 prescriptions, and 90,000 services that accommodate the residents of Al-Mahrah and those coming from all governorates of Yemen.
His Excellency expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, for their fraternal and noble humanitarian role towards the Yemeni people, stressing that these sincere efforts, embodied in health, development, service, and relief projects, are a living example of Arab and Islamic solidarity and support the resilience of our people in the difficult circumstances they are going through.
The Yemeni Minister pointed out that the establishment of health centers such as the dialysis center reflects the fraternal and humanitarian stances and sincerity in providing aid that alleviates the suffering of Yemenis, enhances their capabilities, and instills hope in them for a better future.
The Minister of Media, Culture, and Tourism noted that the Kingdom has proven through its field work on the ground that it is the primary supporter of Yemen, not only in political, economic, and humanitarian challenges, but also in achieving sustainable development that enhances the ability of Yemeni society to build and develop.
He affirmed that the Yemeni people will never forget this generous support, which comes at a critical historical moment, and will always be grateful for this generous giving that expresses the deep fraternal ties and the solid relationship between the two neighboring and brotherly peoples.
