KSrelief Launches an Emergency Relief Campaign for Flood Victims in Aden

ADEN, YEMEN: King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief), recently launched an emergency relief campaign for the people affected by heavy rains and floods in Aden; the campaign is being implemented through several local partners and in cooperation with the IDP Unit.
The following aid is included in the campaign: 3,140 food baskets (232.4 tons), 3,000 boxes of dates, 170 tents, 600 rugs, 1,020 blankets and 350 shelter kits. The total number of project beneficiaries is 18,840, all of whom were affected by flooding that occurred in Aden during recent heavy rains.
In March, KSrelief also provided urgent assistance to Aden residents, including distributing 1,763 food baskets (130.5 tons), 80 tents, 600 rugs, and 640 shelter kits to 10,578 beneficiaries.
