RIYADH, SAUDI ARABIA: King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) signed a collaboration agreement with a civil society organization to launch the third phase of a back-to-school project in Taiz, Hadramawt, Shabwah, Abyan, and Lahij, benefiting 6,000 individuals. This signing took place alongside the International Conference on Conjoined Twins in Riyadh.
The agreement was signed by Eng. Ahmed bin Ali Al-Baiz, Assistant Supervisor General for Operations and Programs. Under this agreement, 60 fully equipped alternative classrooms will be provided, and 10 schools will be furnished to create a suitable educational environment for students. Additionally, 6,000 school uniforms and bags containing school supplies will be distributed along with job opportunities for low-income families (beneficiaries of previous training and empowerment projects) by allowing them to produce locally made bags and school uniforms. This initiative is part of KSrelief's efforts to enhance safe educational processes and address student dropout rates in targeted areas.
