KHARTOUM, SUDAN: Today, King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) distributed food and shelter aid to the flood-affected families in Sudan. The distribution came as part of the Saudi relief airlift which was recently sent to support Sudanese people whose country was recently hit by torrential rains and floods that effected several cities and resulted in heavy losses in lives and property.
KSrelief specialized technical team was able to reach isolated and flood-affected areas and succeeded in delivering shelter and food aid to the affected people there. The main objective is to alleviate the suffering and improve the living situation of those people.
Two Saudi relief planes (airlift) arrived yesterday to the capital city of Sudan, Khartoum, carrying more than 100 tons of food and shelter aid. The aid was provided as part of the relief and humanitarian efforts provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through KSrelief to millions of people in need around the world.
