KSrelief Continues Al Khawkhah WASH Project

AL HUDAYDAH, YEMEN: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) continues to implement a WASH sector project for inhabitants of Al Hudaydah’s Al Khawkhah district to provide clean water and protect the health of local residents.  

From 18 to 24 June 2020, the project pumped 357,000 liters of safe drinking water into holding tanks, and 413,000 liters were provided for other household uses. Other components of the project include the collection and transportation of solid waste to local landfills in the district, and sewage system suction services. An insect-spraying campaign was also conducted to combat local disease vectors.

KSrelief has implemented more than 400 impartial, multisector projects to help the Yemeni people during the ongoing conflict in their country.
