KSrelief Conducts Open-Heart Surgery and Catheterization Project in Turkey

TARSUS, TURKEY: King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) carried out a volunteer medical project for open-heart and catheterization surgeries for adults in Turkey, which took place from 26th of October to 2nd of November 2024, with the participation of 32 volunteers from various medical specialties.

Since the beginning of the campaign, the medical team affiliated with the Center has performed 5 open-heart surgeries, 2 therapeutic catheterizations, and 5 diagnostic catheterizations, all of which were successful.

This comes as an extension of the voluntary medical projects related to heart surgeries provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief to alleviate the suffering of peoples and countries affected and in need around the world.
