KSrelief Continues to Operate Nutritional Clinics in Al Khawkhah

AL KHAWKHAH, YEMEN: King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) continues to operate Mobile Nutritional Clinics in the Al Khawkhah district of Yemen’s Al Hudaydah governorate. 

From 12 – 18 August 2021, the clinics provided treatment to 3,734 beneficiaries, as follows: 451 patients in emergency services; 1,832 patients in internal medicine; 63 patients in therapeutic feeding services; 310 patients in the reproductive health clinic; 22 patients in the immunization clinic; 382 patients in the epidemic disease clinic; and 204 patients in the injury treatment clinic. Seven patients utilized the medical referral system, 275 were treated in the pediatric clinic, and the health awareness and education department had 188 visitors. 

The clinic provided prescriptions to 2,504 patients, and laboratory testing services for 2,943. The general healthcare clinic had 1,323 patients, 15 patients received inpatient care, and 9 patients received blood transfusions. The OB-GYN clinic treated 17 patients, and the ECG clinic provided services to one patient.
