KSrelief Delivers Medical Aid to Bangladesh to Combat COVID-19

DHAKA, BANGLADESH: King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) recently delivered a shipment of medical aid being provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Bangladesh to stop the spread of COVID-19 in the country. 

The aid was officially handed over on behalf of KSrelief by the chargé d'affaires for the Saudi Embassy in Bangladesh, Mr. Yahya bin Abdulrahman Al Qarni, and was received by the Bangladeshi Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for COVID-19 Affairs, Dr. Khalil Rahman. The aid was presented in the Bangladeshi capital, Dhaka.

The delivery ceremony was also attended by the Director General of the West Asia Department at the Bangladeshi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Burhanuddin. In attendance from the Saudi Embassy were the Head of the Economic and Cultural Affairs Department, Mr. Ahmed bin Hassan Al Hamdi, and the Head of the Administrative and Financial Affairs Department, Mr. Abdul Fattah Al-Gharbi.

The aid included nearly half a million medical supply items, including 200,000 N95 masks, 200,000 medical masks, 15,000 protective medical coats, 65,000 protective surgical gowns and 15,550 nitrile gloves.
