The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief), continues its efforts to support affected communities and promote the values of giving and solidarity at regional and international levels, reaching those affected worldwide and providing humanitarian assistance that improves living conditions.
Within its projects aimed at eradicating poverty, KSrelief has implemented 1,084 projects in the field of food security and nutrition, with a total cost of 2,401,640,000 USD, benefiting countries including Yemen, Syria, and Somalia—among the most affected by crises and humanitarian disasters.
As part of its global humanitarian mission, KSrelief plays a pivotal role as Saudi Arabia’s humanitarian arm, having implemented 3,768 projects in 109 countries since its establishment, with a total cost exceeding 8,206,000,000 USD, covering sectors such as food security, health, education, water and sanitation, shelter, early recovery, and other vital areas that contribute to improving living standards and reducing poverty.
KSrelief also strengthens international partnerships and builds close cooperation with United Nations organizations and humanitarian and relief agencies worldwide, enabling communities to become self-reliant and achieve sustainable development. On the occasion of the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty, observed on October 17 each year, the Kingdom’s contributions highlight a global humanitarian message emphasizing the importance of international solidarity to alleviate the suffering of the poor and support populations affected by crises toward a more stable and prosperous future.
