BANGLADESH: King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) continues to distribute food baskets to Rohingya refugees and host community members in Bangladesh, in response to ongoing international appeals to help these vulnerable groups. The aid is being provided in line with the 2020 Rapid Response Plan for the Rohingya Humanitarian Crisis.

Most recently, a KSrelief team distributed 43.2 tons of food baskets to 9,000 Rohingya refugees in Cox’s Bazar. Each basket contains basic foods such as sugar, lentils, oil, salt and rice to provide urgent nutritional assistance to those in need.

The food aid is being handed out via more than 20 distribution centers in Bangladesh; a total of 30,000 food baskets will be delivered to help meet the nutritional needs of thousands of Rohingya refugees and vulnerable Bangladeshis.

KSrelief provides ongoing support for Rohingya refugees and host community members through programs that cover several humanitarian sectors including food, shelter and medical aid.
