KSrelief-supported Al Ghaydah Dialysis Center Continues to Operate

AL MAHRAM, YEMEN: The dialysis center in the Al Ghaydah district of the Al Mahrah governorate in Yemen continues to provide medical services to local patients, thanks to generous support from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief).

From 13 – 18 February, the facility provided 89 dialysis sessions for 37 kidney-failure patients. A total of 68% of the patients were male, and 32% were female; 89% were local residents. Seven percent of the patients were IDPs, and 4% were refugees. Some 65 laboratory analyses were performed for patients, and 19 patients visited the kidney-failure clinic.
