Ma’rib Hospital Authority Continues to Provide Care

MA’RIB, YEMEN: The Ma'rib General Hospital Authority continues to provide comprehensive health care services to wounded and injured Yemenis from several regions of the country, including to local residents and IDPs. This care is being provided with the ongoing support of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) on behalf of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.  

On September, 36,482 patients visited the hospital and were provided services as follows: 9,890 patients were treated in the ER, 2,936 were treated as inpatients, and 1,407 surgeries were conducted. The laboratory provided services for 12,452 cases, X-rays were produced for 6,782 patients, and the dialysis center provided services for 820 kidney-failure patients. 

The Artificial Limbs Center provided 1,637 services for 533 patients, and its prosthetics manufacturing and maintenance department assisted 301 patients. The physiotherapy department received 332 patients and 1,348 counseling sessions were provided.

The head of the Ma'rib General Hospital Authority, Dr. Muhammad Al-Qubati, confirmed that KSrelief is providing generous support to the hospital, and thanked the center for its continuing commitment to the facility.
