KSrelief Project Supports Four Orphanages in Afghanistan

KABUL, AFGHANISTAN: In coordination with the Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs, Martyrs and Disabled of Afghanistan, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) recently implemented a project to support three orphanages in Afghanistan.
At a cost of USD 249,000, the project will provide 200.5 tons of food items, 896 school bags and 896 bags of clothing for 896 orphans and 184 staff members.
Sayed Anwar Sadat, the Afghanistan’s Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs, Martyrs and Disabled, praised this vital project, which will help alleviate the suffering of many orphans in his country. He thanked the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the center, for providing this assistance.
The Saudi Arabian Ambassador to Kabul, Jassim bin Mohammed Al-Khalidi, delivered a speech in which he noted the close ties between the two countries, describing the project as one of the many important humanitarian initiatives offered by Saudi Arabia around the world.
Under the project, three orphanages will undergo repair and restoration, including Imam Malik Orphanage in Kabul, Jalalabad Orphanage, and Darul Arqam Orphanage in Kunar.
