KSrelief’s Mobile Medical Clinic at Waalan Camp Continues to Provide Services

HAJJAH, YEMEN: King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) operates a mobile medical clinic at the Waalan IDP camp in Yemen’s Hajjah governorate, providing ongoing patient services to hundreds of camp residents.

By category of care, from 19 – 25 August 2021, a total of 208 patients were treated, as follows: 

The ER department – 54 patients; internal medicine – 48 patients; health education and awareness department – 2 visitors; nursing services – 45 patients; reproductive health department – 4 patients; epidemic disease control – 45 patients; dermatology – 3 patients; and injury treatment – 5 patients. 

The pharmacy dispensed 158 prescriptions, and two waste disposal activities were completed.
