KSrelief Clinics in Zaatari Camp Hold COVID-19 Training Course
Author: KSrelief

AMMAN, JORDAN: A training course was held recently at the clinics operated by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) at the Zaatari camp for Syrian refugees in Jordan to train medical staff on ways to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic. The course taught participants about personal protection procedures, how to deal with patients, and appropriate treatment protocols for the disease. These courses were held in coordination with UNHCR and the Jordanian Ministry of Health.
The purpose of the course is to help camp staff try to keep themselves and others safe from infection, and to ensure that people who contract the virus receive the best possible care.
The clinics are also providing up-to-date, accurate information to all camp inhabitants about how to protect themselves and their families from infection, and the protocol for alerting camp medical staff of any suspected exposures or cases.
