The Emergency Center for Epidemic Disease Control in Hajjah Continues to Provide Services

HAJJAH, YEMEN: The Emergency Center for Epidemic Disease Control continues to provide treatment services for beneficiaries in the Hajjah governorate, with the support of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief), in cooperation with the Taybah Foundation for Development. 

From 16 to 22 December 2021, 1,819 patients received services as follows: 700 patients were seen in the registration and sorting department, 395 in the observation department, and 24 in inpatient services.  The epidemic disease clinic had 700 patients, and health education and awareness received 110 visitors. Medical referral system services were provided for 3 patients, and 2 waste disposal activities were carried out. The pharmacy dispensed 700 prescriptions, and 168 lab tests were provided for 62 patients.
