KSrelief Delivers 50 Tons of Dates to Tunisia

A team from King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) delivered today 50 tons of dates to Tunisia – part of the Kingdom's annual global “Gift of Dates” project. 

The shipment was handed over, on behalf of KSrelief, by was handed by the Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Tunisia Dr. Abdulaziz Al Saqer. The ceremony was attended by the Assistant Director of the Diplomatic Protocol Department at the Tunisian Ministry of Foreign Affairs; the Director of Administrative Affairs at the Tunisian Union for Solidarity; and the Director of the Sub-Department for Interventions and Programs; and KSrelief team. The ceremony was held at the headquarters of Saudi Arabia’s embassy in the capital, Tunis.

Saudi Arabia’s Ambassdor, Dr. Abdulaziz Al Saqer, appreciated the relief and humanitarian efforts of Saudi Arabia, through KSrelief, around the world. He stressed that these efforts embody the keenness of the leadership and government of Saudi Arabia to stand with countries and peoples in need. Dr. Al Saqer confirmed that the Kingdom is providing all forms of humanitarian aid to all, noting the strong relations between Saudi Arabia and Tunisia.

Assistant Director of the Diplomatic Protocol Department at the Tunisian Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed his sincere thanks to the government and people of Saudi Arabia for the gift presented to his country. He indicated that this is not surprising from Saudi Arabia, because it is well-known for its  unlimited generous support that extended all over the globe.
