King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief), in cooperation with the Guinea Red Cross Society, launched a food aid distribution project for most-in-need families in Guinea.

The project will distribute 10,655 food baskets in the cities of Conakry, Dubréka, Coyah, Matoto and Ratoma. Each basket consists of essential food items that will feed a family for one month.

Dr. Fahad Al Rashidi stated, “Providing this aid is an extension of the humanitarian role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and a reflection of its noble mission to support humanitarian and relief action to stand by neediest groups around the world without discrimination."

Dr. Morissanda Kouyaté praised the Center's efforts to support affected peoples around the world. He conveyed the President of Guinea’s appreciation and thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH the Crown Prince.

KSrelief has implemented many impartial, multisectoral humanitarian initiatives across Guinea, providing vital assistance to millions of people in need throughout the country.
