Author: KSrelief
The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief), in cooperation with the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), organized today an in-depth strategic session via video conference. The session focused on discussing challenges and exploring solutions to enhance humanitarian access in Afghanistan, the Gaza Strip, and Syria. The meeting saw the participation of several directors of specialized departments at KSrelief, a representative from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and officials from OCHA offices in the Palestinian territories, Syria, and Afghanistan.
The session addressed the prominent obstacles impeding the flow of humanitarian aid into Afghanistan, as well as the delivery of humanitarian assistance and relief commodities to the targeted populations within the Gaza Strip. Furthermore, the discussions examined relief requirements in Syria and identified opportunities to link emergency response initiatives with sustainable programs focused on building resilience.
This session falls within KSrelief’s continuous efforts to strengthen coordination among international partners and develop humanitarian action mechanisms, ensuring the effective delivery of aid to the most vulnerable populations in crisis zones worldwide.
