RIYADH, SAUDI ARABIA: Yemen's Minister of Local Administration and Chairman of the Yemeni Relief Committee, Abdul Raqib Fatah, praised the efforts of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) to meet the needs of health facilities in all governorates of Yemen.
In a press statement to the Yemen News Agency (SABA), Mr. Fatah stressed that KSrelief will continue to provide the same high level of assistance to healthcare facilities in the country as in 2017 – always with impartiality and according to international humanitarian aid delivery standards. He added that KSrelief's efforts help to alleviate the suffering of all in need.
Mr. Fatah also praised Saudi Arabia's generous support at the recent 2018 High-Level Pledging Event for the Humanitarian Crisis in Yemen in Geneva. The Kingdom pledged USD $500 million to fund the response plan, an amount additional to its ongoing bilateral support to the legitimate government of Yemen.
