KSrelief Continues to Operate Nutritional Clinics in Al Khawkhah

AL KHAWKHAH, YEMEN: King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) continues to operate Mobile Nutritional Clinics in the Al Khawkhah district of Yemen’s Al Hudaydah governorate. 

From 19 – 25 August 2021, the clinics provided treatment to 3,763 beneficiaries, as follows: 401 patients in emergency services; 1,839 patients in internal medicine; 75 patients in therapeutic feeding services; 314 patients in the reproductive health clinic; 20 patients in the immunization clinic; 354 patients in the epidemic disease clinic; and 259 patients in the injury treatment clinic. Some 13 patients utilized the medical referral system, 203 were treated in the pediatric clinic, and the health awareness and education department had 285 visitors. 

The clinic provided prescriptions to 2,732 patients, and laboratory testing services for 3,143. The general healthcare clinic had 1,600 patients, Ten patients received inpatient care, and 12 received blood transfusions. The OB-GYN clinic treated 20 patients, and the ECG clinic provided services to 3 patients.
