KSrelief Clinics Provide Medical Services to 2,520 Refugees in Jordan

AMMAN, JORDAN: The clinics of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief (KSrelief) provided medical services to 2,520 patients at the Zaatari refugee camp for Syrians in Jordan during the fourth week of October 2024.

The general medicine clinics examined 503 patients and provided necessary medications. The internal medicine clinic treated 119 patients with diabetes, hypertension, and asthma. The pediatric clinic examined 292 children and supplied them with medications. The emergency department received 238 patients, and 154 patients visited the dental clinic.

The women's clinic attended to 211 patients, while the otolaryngology clinic saw 54 patients, and the ophthalmology clinic treated 34 patients. The cardiology clinic saw 28 patients, and the diagnostic radiology clinic examined 29 patients. Additionally, 16 patients were treated in the rehabilitation medicine clinic.

A total of 3,195 laboratory tests were conducted for 335 patients, 119 X-rays were performed for 92 patients, and 50 vaccinations were administered in the vaccination clinic for 21 patients. Medications for chronic diseases were dispensed to 280 patients, the health education department served 59 beneficiaries, 55 patients visited the physical therapy department, and a total of 1,572 prescriptions were recorded in the pharmacy.
