KSrelief Launches a Voluntary Cardiac Surgery and Catheterization Project in Yemen's Hadramawt

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) launched a voluntary medical project for cardiac surgery and catheterization in Mukalla District, Hadramawt Governorate, Yemen. The campaign is being held from October 25 to November 1, 2025, with the participation of 15 volunteers from various medical specialties.

Since the beginning of the campaign, the KSrelief medical volunteer team has performed eight open-heart surgeries, 29 therapeutic catheterizations, and six diagnostic catheterizations. This project comes as part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s ongoing voluntary medical efforts through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, to provide specialized medical assistance to people and communities in need across the globe.
