KSrelief’s Supervisor General Meets Norwegian Minister of Development and WFP Deputy Executive Director

The Supervisor General of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief), Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah, met with the Minister of Development of the Kingdom of Norway, Åsmund Aukrust, on the sidelines of the Global Partnerships Conference 2026 held in London. During the meeting, they discussed humanitarian and relief affairs, as well as ways to enhance cooperation to benefit vulnerable populations worldwide.
The Norwegian Minister of Development praised the humanitarian, relief, and volunteer efforts exerted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, in providing various forms of humanitarian support to alleviate the suffering of vulnerable and affected populations globally.
Dr. Al Rabeeah also met with the Deputy Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer of the World Food Programme (WFP), Carl Skau. The two sides discussed joint programs in the field of food security and explored avenues to strengthen cooperation between the Centre and the WFP to provide food assistance to affected populations around the world.
Carl Skau expressed the WFP's pride in its positive partnership with KSrelief to deliver food assistance to those in need, commending the Centre's outstanding level of professionalism.
