KSrelief Delivers Emergency Shelter to Displaced Families in Khan Younis' Al-Mawasi
Author: KSrelief
The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) responded immediately to an urgent humanitarian appeal launched by dozens of displaced families in Al-Mawasi area, south of Khan Younis in the Gaza Strip, following the current humanitarian crisis that led to the destruction and burning of a large number of tents, as part of the Saudi Popular Campaign to Relieve the Brotherly Palestinian People.
Upon receiving the appeal, KSrelief dispatched a convoy of tents to the site, where field teams from the Saudi Center for Culture and Heritage — the Center's executive partner in the Gaza Strip — began setting up and preparing the tents to shelter the affected families, after they had spent difficult hours exposed to the open air.
The beneficiaries expressed their deep gratitude and appreciation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, affirming that the rapid response had a significant impact in easing their suffering, and that the provision of tents saved dozens of families from spending the night without shelter.
This urgent response reflects the humanitarian approach followed by KSrelief in dealing with emergency crises, through rapid outreach to those affected and the provision of their basic needs, as part of its ongoing efforts to support the Palestinian people and ease the suffering of displaced families across the Gaza Strip.
