The total amount of humanitarian and relief aid provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) in 2018 was SAR 4.62 billion (USD 1.23 billion) to provided assistance to beneficiaries in 35 countries around the world.
In 2018, KSrelief implemented 221 projects through 62 United Nations, international regional and local civil society organizations, including assistance in 11 humanitarian sectors and benefiting more than 22,935,171 people. These sectors are: Health, Food Security, Shelter and Non-food Items, Water and Sanitation (WASH), Multisector (which includes various types of relief aid), Early Recovery, Education, Humanitarian and Emergency Relief Coordination, Logistics, Emergency Telecommunications, Nutrition and Protection.
