English Version - Decade of Giving Report

With the gracious blessing of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud—may Allah support him—the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) was established on May 13, 2015, as the Kingdom’s external humanitarian arm, carrying a mission of aid and assistance to people across the globe without discrimination. The Centre operates with a humanitarian approach that upholds and enhances human dignity, embodying the noble values encouraged by Islam.

During its first ten years, the Centre encountered various challenges, which it successfully overcame. It employed diverse transportation methods—land, sea, and air, and at times, alternative means in difficult terrains. The Centre responded to various natural disasters, reaching affected populations impacted by droughts, floods, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, landslides, and tsunamis. Over the past decade, it has provided aid across 13 humanitarian sectors and implemented projects in 105 countries, either directly or in partnership with United Nations organizations and civil society institutions in beneficiary countries. Additionally, the Centre has empowered Saudi humanitarian organizations to

operate internationally and has facilitated international volunteer opportunities in fields such as medicine, education, and various professions.

To further enhance its impact, the Centre has launched several platforms, including: The Saudi Aid Platform, Sahem Platform, The Saudi Portal for International Volunteering, and The Saudi Aid Platform for Refugees. This report presents the Centre’s decade-long journey of achievements
