KSrelief Medical Clinics Continue to Assist Syrian Refugees at Jordan’s Zaatari Camp

AMMAN, JORDAN: Yesterday, health care facilities sponsored by King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) at the Zaatari refugee camp in Jordan provided medical services to 403 patients. By category of care, the numbers of patients treated during this period were as follows:

General medicine, 156 patients; internal medicine, 55 patients; pediatrics, 67 patients; ER, 11 patients; and the women’s clinic, 57 patients. The dental clinic treated 39 patients, and the ENT clinic saw 29 patients. The pharmacy dispensed 374 prescriptions, 9 lab tests were provided for 8 patients, and 35 X-rays were performed for 23 patients. Some 47 vaccinations were provided to a total of 17 patients. 

The common goal of the clinics is to achieve an optimal level of health care services for the camp’s residents, and all services are provided free of charge. KSrelief provides a wide range of humanitarian assistance to Syrian refugees and IDPs living in Syria, Jordan and elsewhere in the region.
