Somali Conjoined Twins "Rahma and Ramla" Arrive in Riyadh

In accordance with the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Somali conjoined twins "Rahma and Ramla" arrived today at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, accompanied by their family, coming from the Federal Republic of Somalia. Upon arrival, the twins were immediately transferred to King Abdullah Specialist Children's Hospital under the National Guard for evaluation and to consider the possibility of their separation surgery.
His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah, Advisor at the Royal Court and Supervisor General of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief), expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince for this noble initiative, which embodies the enduring values of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in aiding those in need and caring for the vulnerable. He praised the unlimited support provided by the wise leadership to the Saudi Program for Conjoined Twins, which has become an international model for excellence. Dr. Al-Rabeeah emphasized that this generous gesture reflects the Kingdom's steadfast commitment to providing assistance without regard to color, race, or religion, stemming from its noble humanitarian mission to preserve human life and dignity wherever it may be.
The parents of the Somali twins also expressed their deep gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince for the warm reception and unparalleled generosity they have received. They thanked those involved in the Saudi Program for Conjoined Twins for their outstanding medical efforts in caring for their children, praying for the continued safety and prosperity of the Kingdom and its people.
