KSrelief Continues Work to Provide Education Labs at Aden Universality

ADEN, YEMEN: King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) is continuing work on its project to build and equip education labs for the Faculty of Medicine at Aden University. As of the end of August 2021, 70% of the construction work had been completed; the project is expected to be completed by the end of November 2021.

The project includes preparing the building for a laboratory department and an anatomy museum, providing educational equipment and furniture such as chairs and computers; and providing some 165 up-to-date teaching aids. The project will benefit more than 2,000 students at the bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral levels, along with more than 300 faculty members.

The new education labs will improve the educational environment for medical students and enhance the ability of the medical college to graduate qualified health cadres who will then be able to help support Yemen’s health sector.
