KSrelief Signs 40 million USD to support UNRWA Emergency Humanitarian Appeal in Gaza

 RIYADH, SAUDI ARABIA: King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) signed with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) a 40 million USD financial support memorandum to support UNRWA's emergency appeal in Gaza.

The memorandum was signed by KSrelief Supervisor General, Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah, and UNRWA Commissioner-General, Philippe Lazzarini.

The financial support covers the food security sector for Palestinians in Gaza, benefiting 250,638 individuals and providing shelter aid and other non-food items to 20,019 families, representing 200,190 individuals.

This is part of the persistent efforts of the Kingdom through KSrelief to provide relief to Palestinians in Gaza, and to alleviate their sufferings amid the current humanitarian crisis experienced
