Finding Hope in the Cold
Nargis, an
84-year-old resident of Ghakuch, District Ghizer, finds herself in a
challenging situation with four married boys who have migrated to lower regions
due to a lack of employment opportunities. Her only remaining son in the town
works as a laborer but often struggles to secure consistent employment. Due to
the family’s financial constraints, Nargis couldn’t afford medical treatment
for her various illnesses due to the cold, such as joint pain.
As the harsh
winter approaches, Nargis and her family lack warm clothing and blankets to
shield themselves from the cold. Having heard from local residents about
Ksrelief’s aid, Nargis decided to visit the distribution point. She approached
the KSrelief team, sharing her plight.
Moved by her
circumstances, the KSrelief team promptly arranged a comfortable space for the
elderly lady and provided her with a winter kit. This kit, consisting of
essential winter items, will help Nargis and her family stay warm during the
upcoming cold months.
Grateful for
the support, Nargis expressed her appreciation for the donors and offered
heartfelt prayers for the KSrelief team. The winter kit serves as a lifeline
for Nargis, ensuring that she and her family can better endure the challenges
of the approaching winter.
