Patience is the key to relief

Details

Ismael Omar, 60 years old, was a fisherman in Al Hudaydah Governorate in western Yemen, he loved his profession because it enabled him to live a decent life

Conditions worsened in Al Hudaydah and life became difficult; therefore, Ismail moved to Al Mahrah to settle there with his family of 11 people

Ismail began to suffer from severe and constant pain in his abdomen until he was unable to do any work. He was thinking all the time about his family, who were going to be evicted for not paying their rent

Ismail says: "At first, I was suffering from kidney stones that caused permanent kidney damage. At that time, I thought my life would end but I quickly found hope again when I heard people talking about a specialized center for dialysis in Al Ghaydah city that provides services for free. I felt happy and optimistic and quickly contacted the dialysis center funded by KSrelief, and I started having dialysis sessions in the center. During the treatments, Ismail expressed his overwhelming happiness after the improvement of his health condition, which gave him new hope in life
