Modhesh.. regains life and hope

Modhesh Abdulsalam Saeed, 50-year-old father of ten, has been working since an early age in herding livestock. He used to live a quiet life in a village near the city of Taiz, Yemen, but suddenly his life changed completely. He was injured by a landmine while herding his livestock, which resulted in the amputation of his right leg below the knee.
Soon after, Modhesh entered into a cycle of sadness and depression; as a person who was always used to working and being active, not being able to move left him feeling hopeless. He later heard of the Artificial Limbs Center in Taiz, which provides prosthetic services with the support of KSrelief.
Modhesh decided to visit the center, where the medical staff diagnosed his condition and set up the appropriate treatment plan. His limb was eventually ready, and he was given training on how to properly use it. He could not help but feel overjoyed by the thought of being able to walk again and getting back to his normal life saying that,  “Thanks to KSrelief, with this limb I am able to regain hope and life.”
